Letter for You

Dear watchers, deviants, readers, friends, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and strangers:

I've walked the surface of earth for around 20 years and in this short time I've been alive, I've seen the millennium change, money changing, babies born, old people die, wars being made, peace being made, first kisses, break ups, marriages, divorces, all kinds of weirdness.

Also, I've seen my own world crumble in front of my eyes, fire and stone raining down from the skies, destroying and burning all structures, my body cells fighting amongst themselves and I... I was just a stranger passing by with no answers for all those questions.

And I learned how to fight my demons, had to break my law so I could raise to rule my kingdom again. I’ve been up and down, cried seas of sorrow and regret for being who I am. I’ve waged wars with myself and changed the person in the mirror so many times that all the stars in the universe aren’t enough to count. But the person who I grew to be, the person everyone talks to but only a few are allowed to see, is grateful for always being like this.

Doesn’t matter who you are, always believe in yourself because if you are true, there’s no one in the world more wonderful than you.

This is my letter for you all. A letter to commemorate 9 months of deviations, friendships, happiness and funny conversations… nine months of shed tears. But those weren’t tears shed in vain for I found people who could understand those tears and eyes that could read the meaning behind my words. Thank you for liking my writing; they are bits of my still broken soul with hints of a shattered heart covered in dust.

Thank you for teaching me to love myself a little bit more. Thank you for your compliments, your favorites and the time you spare reading my teary phrases. Thank you for being there and please remember that I will always be there for you as well.

Thank you for helping bandaging my wounds, fixing my bones and ignoring my scars. All your love is welcomed and I can feel your sweetness warming my skin just as if you were hugging me.

But most of all, thank you for being born… I love you all.
